ABOUT

ROZZ WILLIAMS LEGACY started as a group on Facebook by Cult Epics in 2018 to preserve, promote and publish the art and work of Rozz Williams.  A sub group from Cult Epics, which was formed in 1991 by Nico B, friend and confidant of Rozz Williams. The first works arranged by Nico B was in 1994 the album Rozz Williams & Gitane Demone: Every Dream Home a Heartache for which he arranged Ken Thomas to produce the album, and made distribution deals for Rozz and Gitane in Germany with Dark Vinyl and with Triple XXX for USA. Thereafter he organized the Dream Home Heartache tour across Europe, UK and USA and in Mexico City.

With his move to US in 1998 with Gitane Demone, he directed and produced the film PIG with Rozz Williams prior to his death. Co-directed by Rozz and written by him and music recorded, later mixed by Chuck Collison, he starred in the film together with James Hollan. The film was released on VHS in both Europe and USA (in an edition of 1334 copies in each territory), as well as CD-Rom with soundtrack and movie (for PC) in an edition of 1334 copies as well on DVD (limited edition of 2000 copies, in two editions of 1334 and 666 copies) and Blu-ray and DVD in 2013 as a combo with his sequel film 1334, in a limited edition of 2300 copies.

In 1999 after Rozz’s death, Nico produced and edited the book The Art of Rozz Williams, as published by Last Gasp of SF, in a softcover edition of 5000 copies. The book was reprinted with an additional 8 pages (Including a Foreword by Rikk Agnew and additional discography 2017) in a hardcover edition of 1000 copies and second hardcover edition of 1000 copies in 2021. As of recent Nico B edited and produced for Cult Epics the book: Christian Death - Only Theatre of Pain photography by Edward Colver. A Deluxe box set was produced with a double album in collaboration with Lisa Fancher of Frontier Records.

In collaboration with Rozz’s family and his estate, we will be producing official licensed work and merchandise of Rozz Williams, as well in collaboration with Edward Colver and other photographers. Your purchase will benefit them in royalties on each of the licensed works, and not bootleggers or crooked record companies. Please do not support them, simply by avoiding to purchase their low quality releases, this will cease to exist their illegal business.
